Surly Long Haul Trucker Touring Bike. This bike (frame) was manufactured in 2008, I've had it since 2010. Let me start by saying, I love this bike and as such want to see it go to a good home. I just can put the miles on it nowadays to justify keeping it. It's mainly been used for commuting the 12 miles to work most days and has seen a fair few cities within Scotland and Northern England. I've never been what you'd call a cycling expert so my terminology might be a little off :) As for the size of the bike (to give a little more real world example), I'm 6ft 2 inches and it's perfect for me. I've upgraded most of the parts since buying the bike back in 2010, the current setup is as follows: Shimano XT Rear Derailleur Shimano XT Cranks Shimano XT Brake Levers Shimano XT Gear Shifters Shimano XT Hubs Shimano LX Brakes Front and Rear Sputnik Wheels Schwalbe Marathon Tyres Giant Connect Straight Bar with Ergo Grips (Took me a while to settle of this setup, fantastic!) Set of MKS and Shimano SPD Pedals provided Charge Saddle Tortec Rear Rack (Fitted) Pump (Fitted) 2 Toepeak Water Bottle Holders (Fitted) Rear Mud Guards (Fitted) As well as the bike itself, I'm including some additional equipment as it just makes sense to go with the bike. 2 x Deuter Rack Pack Uni 38 Litre Panniers Security Chain 2 x Water Proof Bag Inserts 900 Lumen Front Light including battery pack and charger. Can be mounted to handlebars or used as a headlamp. As you can see, this pretty much includes anything you'd ever need to get going and as it's an LHT, it's a bike for life (if you want it to be) and will never let you down.
